Q: Do you accept insurance?
A: Insurance is not accepted at this time, however, I do accept Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flex Spending Accounts (FSA) for a $5 credit card fee. A master bill can be provided for you to submit to your insurance.
Q: Do you accept personal injury protection (PIP) claims? This is most common with auto accidents.
A: Yes. Your insurance information will be needed before our first appointment. A Doctor referral must be provided for all cases.
Q: Do I need a medical referral for massage or manual lymphatic drainage?
A: Medical referrals are necessary for PIP claims, and insurance reimbursements and they are required by some HSA’s.
Q: How can I pay?
A: Cash, check, Venmo, and all major credit cards. Credit cards will automatically be charged a $5 fee.
Q: What medical documents do I need?
A: No medical documents are necessary, except for PIP claims.
Q: What is Ashiatsu?
A: With bars hanging from the ceiling for balance, the therapist stands on the table and uses the feet to massage the client with deep, long, smooth strokes, incorporating push, pull, and pumping effleurage movements. Using strokes with strategic placements on the body provides “The deepest, most luxurious massage on the planet”.
Q: When can I have my first Manual lymphatic drainage post-surgery?
A: The sooner you start lymphatic drainage the better. Surgeons recommend having the first session within 24 hours post-surgery as MLD is gentle and reduces the appearance of bruises, swelling, stiffness, burning shooting pain, scars, lumps, bumps (fibrosis), and soreness that often occurs post-surgery.
Q: Can I purchase a gift certificate online?
A: Not at this time. When I transition to be in Cashmere full-time GC will be available for purchase online.
